Nervous System Care Series

4-Week Series, Wednesdays, February 1, 8, 15, 22

11am-12pm

held at Allomi Redondo Beach

Learn clear, tested strategies for preventing panic, improving sleep, boosting immunity and getting out of burnout. If you’re exercising, you need to be taking time to restore your body. If you’re not exercising, start here first. By directly targeting stress hormones, toning spinal nerves and aligning soft tissues, this series will leave you in overall better health.   In each class, you can expect:

  • Movement, sometimes sweaty & challenging movement, to wake up your sympathetic nervous system.
  • Restorative postures to bolster your parasympathetic nervous system.
  • Soft-tissue manipulation techniques using massage tools to specifically boost your hydration and flush stress hormones from your body.
  • Concise instructions on visualization techniques to immediately address feelings of panic and anxiety in the moment.

In addition to in-person classes, you will receive access to an online portal with nutrition, reading recommendations and daily practices to care for your nervous system. You will receive unlimited support with questions and resources through this portal during these four weeks and beyond.

Bethany holds certifications in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), yoga therapy for transforming trauma, polyvagal theory, Ayurvedic women’s care, addiction counseling and soft-tissue manipulation. She brings these varied techniques together to create an embodied practice for women* that invites a more restful, attuned life. Bethany is an experienced yoga therapist and meditation teacher, but more importantly she is an active mother in a modern world, and she lives these practices daily.

Cost: $120 4-week series / $40 single drop-in if space permits

*Physiologically, male/female bodies have different nervous system composition, largely due to differences in hormone balance. This course is open to anyone of any gender identity seeking nervous system care. However, language and information will be skewed toward female body composition.
