Complete your 200-hour level teacher training with Safe Harbor Yoga School! Your required courses are READY, STEADY, and LEARN. These courses set a solid foundation. You then elect any course to complete your training based on your personal interest.
DEMYSTIFYING YOGA
(25 Hours)
no prerequisites
may be applied toward a 200/500-hour level training
$200 includes Yoga Alliance credit Attend this workshop series held at The Yoga Harbor throughout 2019 for 15 hours of Yoga Alliance credit hours. Prepare a personal presentation for an additional 10 hours of credit.

This trauma-informed course asks important questions about how yoga is working in our society for inclusion, healing, and personal empowerment. If you work with at-risk populations, if you want to encourage diversity in yoga, or if you want to understand more about how yoga and meditation can be used as a complement to other methodologies to encourage healing, this course is for you.

Stress reduction is the number one reason people turn to yoga. If you want to learn how yoga can positively affect the parasympathetic nervous system, come join us for 2 weekends of “putting your feet up.” We’ll learn restorative and supported postures as well hands-on techniques, guided meditation, and mindfulness practices to reset & restore from the inside out.
