This is our functional anatomy course. Students of all backgrounds find great value in discovering their personal movement patterns, natural strengths, and functional weaknesses. Rather than teaching poses from the outside in, this course reviews essential movement patterns in our bodies and asks how we can honor them on the mat.

This course includes two weeks of in-person connection & 40 days of personal dedication in between.  If you would like to participate weekends-only, you are invited to do so for 50-hours of education or personal interest.

This is a true course in physical yoga. We review asana, salutation, sequencing and cueing to either enhance your personal practice or prepare you to teach. You will apply functional anatomy to de-bunk yoga myths. You will walk away with class outlines that make it easy-breezy to plan a class for yourself or students. 
BECOMING NATURALLY THERAPEUTIC

This trauma-informed course asks important questions about how yoga is working in our society for inclusion, healing, and personal empowerment. If you work with at-risk populations, if you want to encourage diversity in yoga, or if you want to understand more about how yoga and meditation can be used as a complement to other methodologies to encourage healing, this course is for you.

Stress reduction is the number one reason people turn to yoga. If you want to learn how yoga can positively affect the parasympathetic nervous system, come join us for 2 weekends of “putting your feet up.” We’ll learn restorative and supported postures as well hands-on techniques, guided meditation, and mindfulness practices to reset & restore from the inside out.
